About Way of the Cards

Way of the Cards is a collaborative effort of a small group of people who have a heavy affinity with cards. Cards appear in many forms in our lives, from collectibles and card games such as poker to video games, baseball cards and tarot cards.

In our experience, there is definitely a quite strong correlation between liking one of these subdomains and liking the others. Most subdomains also have the “Easy to Learn, Hard to Master” element in common.

That is why we decided to make Way of the Cards. Here, people of all levels can learn more about the subdomains they are interested in from authors who have already mastered them.

Oh, you’re wondering about the choice of site name? It’s a tongue-in-cheek reference to Yu-Gi-Oh!’s Heart of the Cards.

About Bettina Marsh

Bettina Marsh is the head webmaster of Way of the Cards. She has been playing card games ever since she was a young girl. From quartet against family to Yu-Gi-Oh! against friends to online poker, she has done it all.

That is not to say she has experience in all card-related subtopics, however. Tarot cards, video games, baseball and other sports really aren’t her thing, just to name a few topics. That is why she teamed up with several other authors, to create a more complete card-related resource.

Although Bettina did not write most of the articles on this site, she did read all of them. This allows her to ensure the quality of each article and adding some polish, making them easier to read.

All articles on our site clearly list the author. We also have different categories for all subdomains we write about. This should allow you to quickly find the content you’re most interested in.
